Spiritual Inventory: First of the Month: Reconcile, Refresh, Renew, Restart

Time to prepare yourself for the New Month. Take the time today to let go of the past & focus on where you are in your life, where you want to be & how will you get there. Pray & seek God’s will & blessings on your month. Isaiah 43: 18-19, tells us in the Old Testament to forget the past & look at what God is doing in our lives today!

Think today where you want to be in 1 Month, 2 months, 6 months, 1 year…

How is your current relationship with God?

What challenges/struggles are you currently facing?

What are your heart’s desires?

Do you trust God with your future?

What are your spiritual Goals?

What do you need to change to get closer to your Goal?

What Christian Actions will you put into Practice?

Now take everything you have thought about for April & PRAY on it. Let your worries go!

Why this Passage: Acts 1 was written by Luke & links the Gospels to the Epistles. Without Acts it might be a bit confusing reading the rest of the Bible. This passage speaks to me about the power of the Holy Spirit, praying together, our calling to be servants/disciples to Jesus & trust in God’s timing.

Oh Heavenly Father because of your love for us we are given your grace every day. Lord, we praise you today for the path you open to us in April & we seek your guidance before we take even one step. Lord give us courage to leave the past behind & strength to trust in your plan & timing for our lives. Lord may we start this month refreshed & renewed in the love for you & for all of your people. In your name we pray, Amen.
